Elizabeth Peavy, M.Ed. CCC-SLP
As a student, Elizabeth always knew she wanted to work with children, but did not realize what that looked like until college. Elizabeth received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the wonderful University of Georgia. Since graduation, she has worked in both the private practice and school setting with kids of all ages. In 2018 she found an opportunity to open a new clinic in Grovetown. Therapy Trails has grown from just her offering speech therapy to a multiple disciplinary clinic with two locations in the CSRA.
Elizabeth has experience helping young children who have a variety of disorders and disabilities. Not only does she specialize in speech and language therapy, but she also has training with young infants and children who have feeding and swallowing disorders. She is a certified member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and licensed in the state of Georgia. Elizabeth is trained in PROMPT and Beckman Oral Motor. When she is not working, Elizabeth is traveling with her husband, Seth, or strolling her 1 yr old daughter, Mallory, around the neighborhood. She is involved at her church and attends most UGA football games in the fall.

Sara James, M.Ed. CCC-SLP
When Sara was in high school, she had the opportunity to observe a speech-language pathologist at a local elementary school. From this point forward, she knew that she wanted to make a career out of this! After an apprenticeship alongside a SLP, Sara received her Bachelor and Master’s degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Valdosta State University. Since then, Sara has worked with young children in the clinic setting. She has also provided speech therapy services in the homes of many children located in Columbia County. Sara is a member of ASHA and licensed in the state of Georgia. In her free time, Sara is spending time with her local church and traveling with her husband. She also enjoys exercising and socializing with friends. Sara is lucky to have her family live in the area, as she is able to spend time with them as well!

Sarah Lambert, M.S. CCC-SLP
Sarah knew that speech therapy was in her future after having the opportunity to observe a family member’s therapy session. Since then, she pursed this career and now has specific certifications in the SOS Approach to Feeding and Beckman Oral Motor Protocol. She enjoys learning new things while adding to her list of classes and trainings! Sarah has received a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish, Master’s Degree in Business Administration, and Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology. Before becoming a speech-language pathologist, Sarah served in the U.S. Army as an Arabic Linguist. When not working, Sarah enjoys reading and gardening. Sarah Bradateanu, M.A. CCC-SLP
Sarah has a background and degree in Linguistics, due to her love for learning about language. Prior to becoming a speech-language pathologist, Sarah tutored non-native English speakers. As a SLP, she has worked in schools across several states including Florida, Kansas, and Georgia. She enjoys working with children and seeing each one make progress! Sarah is able to speak a couple of different languages such as Romanian, Italian, and Spanish. She has her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and is licensed in the state of Georgia. Sarah lived in Rome, Italy for a year after obtaining her Bachelor’s degree. Not only was it a wonderful experience, but this is also where she met her husband. Amanda Huntley, M.S. CCC-SLP
Amanda’s interest in Speech Therapy grew when she volunteered her summers in college with a speech therapist at her hometown elementary school. She found speech therapy is a great mix of education and the medical fields. Since college Amanda has practiced speech therapy in Tennessee, North Carolina, and now Georgia. She has experience in SOS feeding, Dynavox and PRC AAC systems, and is vital-stem certified.
If Amanda’s not at the clinic you might find her running for exercise or just chasing her kids around playing sports! Her caring heart is displayed through fostering dogs through the Mid-Atlanta Pug Rescue. We are so excited to have Amanda’s varied treatment background and passion for kids as part of the Therapy Trails family!

Jaclyn Combs, M.S. CCC-SLP
As an individual who did not speak until the age of three and a half, Jaclyn has always wanted to help others communicate and advocate for their wants and needs. She believes that communication is the foundation of all relationships. Jaclyn received her Bachelor and Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Western Illinois University. She enjoys working with all ages, and in fact, she is certified in the Speak Out voice program, helping those diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease. When not working with our patients, Jaclyn is spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys anything outdoors, such as camping, hiking, and backpacking. Ansley has always loved kids and wanted to find a career helping children and families. She took a class on Communication Disorders and knew the SLP life was for her! She received both her bachelors and masters degrees from Appalachian State University. She is ASHA certified and has LAMP training. Ansley is new to the CSRA and is looking forward to meeting new people and discovering new experiences! She loves being outside, on the water paddle boarding, and listening to live music with her friends and family.

When deciding what major to select in college, Laura thought back to when her younger siblings went to Speech Therapy as kids. She was always interested in the education field and the medical field and found being an SLP was a perfect mix of the two! As a recent graduate of Valdosta State University she was exited to return back to the CSRA to finish up school with a rotation in the NICU and start at Therapy Trails. Laura has leveraged her experience in the NICU to continue to specialize in feeding therapy. In her free time you can find her hanging out with family and friends or possibly reading her next book. Laura has many interesting things about her, but you’ll have to ask her specifically to find out. We are so excited to have Laura as part of the Therapy Trails family!!

Cindy’s passion for speech pathology has been a staple in her life since high school. She holds a firm belief that communication is the cornerstone of effective relationships and is a human right. Her joy and passion can be felt and seen with every kid in her care! Cindy has been practicing for nearly 20 years and is a great leader in our company.
You might find Cindy singing or scrapbooking on the weekends that she’s not cheering on her Florida Gators! As a proud wife of an Army Veteran and devoted mother to 4 children (and 1 fur baby) she is constantly busy! We are so thankful to have Cindy on our Therapy Trails team!

Taylor always knew she wanted to have a career that involved helping people. After shadowing a few different career opportunities, she found speech pathology and feel in love! Taylor’s never-ending smile and passion for helping kids find their own voice is contagious.
You might find Taylor kayaking or “getting her nails done” on the weekends. Taylor found Therapy Trails after her recent move from Buffalo, NY to Georgia and we are so happy she did! Taylor’s technical experience and uplifting attitude greatly help contribute to the Therapy Trails A+ values.

Katie found speech therapy in college when a friend in the communication disorders program recommended it as a career option. She jumped all in and is so glad she did! Katie’s joy for helping kids meet their milestones is contagious to everyone around her.
When Katie’s not in the office you might find her hanging out with friends, reading a good book, or catching up on some TV. Katie’s desire to serve others is a great addition to the Therapy Trails A+ culture! We are so happy to have her join the team!

Christina Duron, M.S. Ed. CCC-SLP
Christina was born in Spokane Washington and spent her childhood moving and traveling for the Air Force which inspired a lifelong love and appreciation for travel and experiencing different cultures and languages. She graduated from high school in Valdosta, Ga. She always felt a pull to work with children. Through researching possible majors for college, she was drawn to Speech Pathology as the perfect fit!
Christina holds her master’s degree in speech language pathology. She received her Bachelor and Master’s degrees in Speech Language Pathology at the University of West Georgia. She spent 8 years working in the school system and 6 years working in outpatient therapy prior to joining Therapy Trails. She is trained in visual phonics, picture exchange communication system, discrete trial training, and has received additional training on implementing AAC devices. She works with children from birth to 18 years to treat articulation disorders, language disorders, voice disorders, fluency disorders, and feeding/swallowing disorders.
Christina’s big smile is always a joy around the clinic! Her desire to serve generously aligns wonderfully with the values of Therapy Trails. We are so happy she joined our team!

Maggie Childress, M.S. CCC-SLP
Maggie discovered her passion for speech therapy through shadowing others in the profession. She found she loves to help others communicate their wants and needs. Originally from the CSRA, Maggie moved to Tennessee to complete her Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Tennessee. She also completed the Carolina Summer Institute through the Children’s Cochlear Implant Center at UNC – Chapel Hill.
Maggie’s upbeat attitude brings joy to everyone around the clinic. Her love for others is evident in all her therapy sessions. Her daily “live gratefully” attitude is a great addition to our A+ culture! We are so happy to have Maggie as part of the Therapy Trails team!

Kayla Van Winkle, MOT, OTR/L
Kayla L. Van Winkle, MOT, OTR/L is a registered and licensed Occupational Therapist who is a native of Paris, Kentucky. She graduated with a Bachelor of Occupational Science degree from Eastern Kentucky University of Richmond, Kentucky and then went on to earn her Master of Occupational Therapy from St. Ambrose University of Davenport, Iowa. Her husband is in the Army which has brought them to the CSRA. Kayla has a wide range of clinical experiences treating various patient populations. She has provided therapy for infants in the NICU, pediatrics of all abilities and disabilities, and adults with a wide range of diagnoses. She also has special interest in sensory related feeding deficits and rehabilitation of orthopedic injuries. While in graduate school Kayla was a graduate assistant for the assistive technology department where she acquired experience with how to adapt toys to pair with gross motor switches for kids with fine motor coordination deficits. Kayla is passionate about her role as an occupational therapist and enjoys building relationships with her clients and their families, while assisting the child in expanding their skills and meeting their goals in a fun and engaging environment. Outside of being an OT, Kayla enjoys being a wife and mother to their two kids, photography, traveling, camping, and being involved in their church. Kayla Van Winkle

Victoria Carnell, OTR/L
Victoria is a local to the CSRA area and received her Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from Augusta State University. She then went on to receive her Master’s of Science degree from Brenau University, majoring in Occupational Therapy. Victoria has exposure to a variety of occupational therapy settings, spanning across adult and pediatric populations. After an internship at a pediatric therapy clinic, she ultimately fell-in-love with the pediatric population. Prior to becoming an occupational therapist, Victoria worked as a veterinary technician during her high school and college years. She spends her free time with her husband, Jacob, and their two daughters. Victoria and her family love to be outside, including riding horses and taking walks. Victoria Carnell

Teru Kassner, OTR/L
Teru loves to be around people and wanted to work in the healthcare profession, so OT was the perfect choice! Prior to Therapy Trails, she was an assistant professor of OT at the Medical College of Georgia. Before that, she worked at many locations in Atlanta. Along with having degrees in biology and occupational therapy, she holds a masters degree in healthcare policy and Administration. She is trained in Handwriting without Tears. She strives to do all things with excellence as if doing her work unto the Lord. If Teru is not at the clinic, you can find her spending time with her husband or being the biggest cheerleader to her 3 sons who participate in football, swim, and baseball. In her quiet time, she likes to assemble jigsaw puzzles. She volunteers in the Children’s Ministry at her church and enjoys traveling with the most interesting trip being Egypt! Teru Kassner

Amanda knew she wanted to help people through a healthcare field, but wasn’t sure how until her husband introduced her to OT in college. After seeing an OT help her Grandma in a nursing home she was hooked! Amanda is a Certified Autism Specialist, KT tape certified, and completed course one of DIR floor time training.
Amanda’s spirit animal is the giraffe! Ha! Her positive and optimistic attitude is contagious and really upholds our A+ values at Therapy Trails! We are so thankful to have Amanda on the Therapy Trails team!

Isayda’s passion for collaborating and creating with people while helping them toward reaching their goals lead her to researching careers in the healthcare industry. She quickly found occupational therapy to be a great mix of wholistic, creative, and collaborative aspects and she was sold! Isayda received degrees from the Ohio State University and Florida Gulf Coast University.
Isayda has the coolest hobbies of collecting vinyl records (over 300 and growing!), yoga, and crafting! Isayda’s pursuit of excellence permeates throughout all aspects of her life. We are so thrilled to have Isayda as part of the Therapy Trails A+ culture!

Marga’s love for working with children and the neuro-developmental side of psychology combined to lead her to a career in occupational therapy. Marga’s desire to help is second to none and that is displayed daily with her kids!
Marga is busy outside of the office while her husband and her build their homestead with chickens, cows, pigs, and a garden! Marga’s experience and helping nature are a great addition to the Therapy Trails team!

Kelly has felt a calling to Occupational Therapy since her junior year in high school. She loves that OT isn’t just focused on muscles or strengthening, but on the entire person helping to create independence to allow the person to live fully. Kelly is trained in sensory feeding, sensory processing, ASD, vision, vestibular processing, and dyslexia.
If you walk by Kelly’s therapy room you might find her singing a silly song or conducting a science experiment to help engage her patients in OT. Her passion for uplifting others is very evident in her therapy and fits great with our A+ values!

Kendall Lenz, OTR/L
Kendall’s passion for working with children with disabilities originated when she was in elementary school. While in high school she discovered occupational therapy and learned how OT’s are able to help children meet their developmental milestones. After shadowing a pediatric therapist she told her mom she found what she wanted to do for the rest of her life… and here we are today! Kendall is passionate about the benefits of outdoor therapy and hippotherapy. Through a 12 week hippotherapy program she learned how to be creative in her therapy style and really think outside the box.
If Kendall’s not at work you might find her walking her cat, Swiv, or finding some way to enjoy the great outdoors. Kendall’s excitement and experience with the pediatric population is a great addition to the Therapy Trails team! We’re so excited for the years to come!

Shelby Cannon, OTR/L
While pursuing her undergrad at Georgia College and State University Shelby developed a passion for understanding and supporting child development and volunteered at local schools. She found occupational therapy and loved that OT allowed her to meet so many wonderful and unique kids. Shelby’s passion for the pediatric population has grown with time along with her experience. In 2022 she was able to present her graduate research on pediatric practice as the AOTA national conference.
If Shelby’s not at the office, you might find her and her husband exploring local coffee shops or bookstores. Her passion for pediatrics is evident through the joy she has during her therapy sessions. We are so happy to have Shelby on our Therapy Trails team!

Lindsey Choi, DPT
Lindsey has known for a long time that she wanted to become a physical therapists. Her desire began when she was in middle school, after her mother had an accident, resulting in a brain injury. As she saw her mother undergo physical therapy, Lindsey knew she was called to this role. She completed her undergraduate program at Augusta State University and then received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Southwest Baptist University. Prior to becoming a physical therapist, Lindsey worked at the local Y as an adapted aquatic instructor. Now you will find her playing guitar and leading worship at her church in Thomson. She recently married Josh, along which she inherited a large lap dog, named Blue. Lindsey Choi

Laura Robinson, DPT
Since the age of 12, Laura had a passion to become a physical therapist after watching the positive impact PT had on her cousin, who was born with severe cerebral palsy. She completed her undergrad at the University of Georgia (GO DAWGS!) and received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Augusta University. Laura also holds a certification in disability studies. When Laura is not at work, you might find her outside with her dog or in her garden! She enjoys spending time with family and friends, especially if it’s over a good meal. She enjoys running and *not bragging*,but she beat her husband in completing the 2019 Augusta Half Ironman! If chips and cheese dip can’t fix Laura’s problems, she’s pretty sure chocolate can and she knows that the Lord can! Laura Robinson

Reilly Beilman, DPT
Reilly’s passion for serving in the pediatric population originated from her family’s involvement in the foster/adopt community. With 6 adopted siblings, Reilly has been able to develop experience meeting the unique and individualized needs of children with disabilities. She received her bachelor’s degree from The University of South Carolina and attended The University of Alabama at Birmingham for her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Reilly has a 3 year background in outpatient pediatrics, previously working in clinics in Savannah, Ga and El Paso, Tx. She has experience working with a wide variety of diagnoses such as Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, traumatic brain injuries, mitochondrial disorders, Down Syndrome, developmental delay, Autism and Torticollis. Reilly and her husband recently moved back to Evans, Ga, and she is enjoying spending time with her family, and her dogs DixieBelle and Cheyenne. Reilly Beilman

Hannah Waples, DPT
Hannah was first introduced to physical therapy when she was a youngster doing dance. She loved the fact that she could actively heal through specialized movement. After volunteering with special needs kiddos in high school, Hannah knew she wanted to work with the pediatric population. Hannah’s passion for kids overflows to those around her!
When she’s not at Therapy Trails, you’ll probably find Hannah with her husband, Devin, and two fur babies outside hiking and exploring. She’s a huge animal lover and hopes to even have a mini farm with all types of rescue animals in the future. We are so excited to have Hannah part of the Therapy Trails Team!

Jessica Reid, Director of Operations
Jessica has always had a desire to work in the healthcare realm in some shape or form. Prior to graduating she worked with the burn unit at Doctor’s Hospital and with the Southeastern Firefighters Burn Foundation. She attended Augusta University where she received both her undergraduate and graduate degrees in business administration with a concentration in management. In July 2018, Jessica graduated with her Masters of Business Administration. Jessica joined the Therapy Trails team in October 2018. When not working, Jessica enjoys spending time with her family. In addition to loving her human-family, she also loves her fur-family, Claire and Sophie. Jessica has a crafty-side, as she has a love and talent for hand-lettering. She enjoys serving her community by being a Sunday School teacher for the youth at her church. Jessica Reid

Terri Powell
After 19 years of homeschooling her kids, Terri was ready to put her skills to work helping other kids in the CSRA. Terri is a graduate of The University of Georgia with a degree in Public Relations. Her detailed personality is a great fit for her role in authorizations at Therapy Trails! When she’s not working you can find her enjoying a good book, walking her dog, or getting fit at her favorite spin class.
Terri’s skills extend much beyond the medical office as she recently inherited a wheat farm in Kansas and is learning how to run a farm! We’re so excited to have Terri on the Therapy Trails team!

Janet’s caring heart for others makes her a great contribution to the healthcare industry. Prior to joining Therapy Trails, she worked as the front desk coordinator at a local dental office. Her path to Therapy Trails was undoubtedly a divine appointment. Her attention to detail and genuine care for others is a great contribution to the A+ values at Therapy Trails!
Janet is busy 24/7 helping raise her 3 awesome kids with her husband Jeremy. They all enjoy going to the lake, hiking in North Carolina, or playing board games together. Janet is the embodiment of an answered prayer, and we are so happy she is part of the Therapy Trails team!

Izzy Myers
Izzy’s first experience working in finances was during a project in high school where her company manufactured and sold candles. While in college working on her Computer Science degree, Izzy worked as a Closing Expert in retail. She joined the billing department in 2022 and hit the ground running!
When she’s not at Therapy Trails, you might find Izzy reading or painting with her sister and grandmother. She might even be practicing her German on duo-lingo! Izzy’s upbeat attitude is always a joy around the office! Her desire to uplift others is very evident when you have a conversation with Izzy! We’re so happy to have Izzy part of the Therapy Trails team!

Shaneil Howard
Shaneil’s caring heart can be felt through every phone call! Originally from Kingston, Jamaica she joined Therapy Trails in 2022 after moving from Colorado where she worked in a Therapy and Care Center. Shaneil was drawn to Therapy Trails by her love for working with kids and generally helping people get needed care.
When Shaneil’s not working you might catch her hanging out with friends, being outdoors, or finding the newest dinner spot in town. Shaneil brings tons of joy to Therapy Trails patients and staff!

Rachael Niven
Rachael joined Therapy Trails in 2022 as a scheduling coordinator but quickly grew to be clinic director. Rachael’s care for people is evident through all interactions with patients and co-workers. She participated in the Leadership Development Program at Chick-fil-A to grow her management experience while in school at AU obtaining a BBA with a concentration in Healthcare Management.
On the weekends you will find Rachael spending time with family or hanging out with her favorite animals, her Dachshunds. We are so thankful Rachael decided to join the Therapy Trails team!

Carlina’s warm heart can be felt best through helping patients and parents receive care through what could be a scary and difficult time. She has dedicated most of her career helping people through the healthcare industry in Augusta. Carlina received her BA in Health Information Management and has completed multiple customer service and insurance specialized trainings.
If Carlina’s not in office, you will probably find her riding her Peloton or baking. She provides great leadership and experience to the Grovetown office. We are so happy she decided to join the Therapy Trails Team!

Seth Peavy
Seth is the odd ball in the group. After completing his undergrad at UGA in Agricultural Engineering he worked as a product design engineer at John Deere for 8 years. While at Deere he completed his Masters in Systems Engineering from Penn State. Seth opted for an early “retirement” from Deere to help his wife Elizabeth grow the Therapy Trails business. He handles much of the business intelligence analysis, facilities, and IT. In his free time you can find Seth exercising in the garage or racing his mountain bike through the woods.

Mallory Peavy
Mallory may looked confused but she knows exactly how to get her way. At only a year old, she is the youngest (and most demanding) employee at Therapy Trails. She is responsible for providing cuddles to other employees when they are having a down day. She also is a test subject for new feeding techniques when Mom completes new CEU’s. Between snack times, Mallory enjoys trying to eat inanimate objects such as puzzle pieces and book pages. Her favorite nighttime activity is reading Oh, the Places You’ll Go! by Dr. Suess with Mom right before bed. Her Saturdays are filled with bike rides to the local coffee shop and chasing after her best furry friend Tate. Mallory Peavy
